STON Oyun Yazılım ve Pazarlama Anonim Şirketi (“STON”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a game publishing company. This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you visit our website at https://ston.games (the “Site”), contact us, or play a mobile game published by STON (each a “Game” and, together with the Site, the “Services”).

“Personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), STON is the data controller unless a Game states otherwise.

Please read this policy carefully. If you do not want us to process your information as described here, please do not use the Services.

Information we collect

When you visit the Site

The Site does not ask you to create an account and does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the date and time of your request. This information is used to deliver the Site and keep it secure.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. If you are a game developer, this may include your company details, pitch materials, game builds and performance data.

When you play a Game

Most of the information we collect in a Game is gathered through software development kits (SDKs), which are technical tools integrated into the Game.

• Technical information: the type of device you use, persistent identifiers such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers and a user ID specific to our Games, and the country or region you are playing in.
• Usage and advertising information: how you play our Games and how you interact with ads shown in our Games or with our ads in other publishers’ apps.
• Information from app stores and partners: information such as in-app purchases. We never receive your payment or credit card details.
• Age information: your age range or year of birth, where a Game asks for it to apply an age gate.

We do not collect your name, address, email or phone number through our Games. We receive this information only if you contact us directly, and we use it to respond to you.

How we use information

We and our service providers use the information we collect to:

• operate, maintain, secure and improve the Services;
• understand how players use our Games and personalize their experience;
• respond to your questions and provide support;
• evaluate games submitted to us and manage publishing partnerships;
• deliver advertising, cross-promotion and analytics in our Games;
• send related information, such as technical notices, updates and security alerts;
• comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR or KVKK applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• performing a contract with you, or taking steps at your request before entering into one;
• our legitimate interests or those of others, such as securing and improving the Services;
• your consent, where consent is required, for example for certain advertising;
• complying with a legal obligation.

How we share information

We share personal data only as described in this policy or with your approval:

• with service providers that work on our behalf, such as hosting, email, analytics, attribution and advertising providers;
• with our affiliates;
• with the studio that developed a Game, where needed to operate, support and improve that Game;
• in response to subpoenas, court orders or other legal processes;
• to protect our or a third party’s legal rights, investigate fraud or defend against a legal claim;
• as part of a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or bankruptcy.

We may also share aggregated or anonymous information with advertisers, publishers and business partners.

Advertising and analytics providers in our Games

Our Games may work with third-party advertising, mediation, attribution and analytics companies. These companies may collect information through SDKs or similar technologies, including your device and advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location and how you interact with ads. They use it to serve and measure ads and to provide analytics, and in some cases they may also use it for their own purposes under their own privacy policies.

Where consent is required, these companies process your data for targeted advertising only with your consent. You can ask us which providers are used in a particular Game by contacting us.

Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Services and for the purposes described in this policy, unless the law requires us to delete it or we accept your request to delete it. We also keep data as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Your rights

Depending on the laws that apply to you, including the GDPR and Article 11 of KVKK, you may have the right to:

• access or receive a copy of your personal data;
• correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
• delete your personal data or restrict how we process it;
• object to processing, including for direct marketing;
• transfer your data to another provider;
• withdraw your consent at any time;
• complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise these rights, or to ask us to delete data connected to a Game, email publishing@ston.games. For deletion requests, please use the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include the name of the Game and, if available, your in-game user ID. We may ask for information to confirm your identity, and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. Some information may be exempt, for example where we must keep it to comply with a legal obligation. After deletion, you may no longer be able to use the Game.

Your choices

• Tailored advertising: you can limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier in your device settings. You may still see ads, but they will not be based on your activity across other apps.
• Location: you can turn off location access in your device settings.
• Push notifications: you can turn these off in your device settings.

Children

Our Services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you are under 16, please do not send us any information about yourself. If you believe we hold information about a child under 16, please contact us and we will delete it as quickly as possible.

International transfers

Some of our service providers are located, or store data, outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area. When we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the date at the top.
